Caring For Your Art

Congratulations on your purchase! Finding a piece of art you love for yourself or a friend is very exciting, and it’s an investment. Follow my advice below to help you care for your art and protect it for years to come.

Matting and Framing: To protect your art from damage, I highly recommend matting and framing. Using a mat or acrylic spacers will help keep the paper from touching the glazing and creating moisture. Always use the highest quality mat you can afford, preferably made from archival or acid-free materials. Any frame you like will do and both glass or acrylic for the glazing is acceptable and personal preference. A UV protective grade glazing will help reduce possible sun damage, though more important is to try and hang it out of direct sunlight.

If you have any additional questions or would like help choosing a frame for your art, please contact me at hello@aliciaahlindbom.com
